When I heard that this bride was wearing a red dress at her wedding, I was so excited to create her bridal portraits. I had the perfect location in mind, because I knew the blue backdrop would be an amazing contrast to her dress.
I was even more excited when I met the bride for the first time at our session. Just look at her – she’s absolutely gorgeous! The red dress is so much fun, and I love how her hairstyle added to the vintage feel of the session. I also love how the softness of her hair and makeup contrasts with the rough urban background.
Here are some of my favorite images from the session. We were having so much fun, we kept shooting even after the sun set – it was a great opportunity to play around with my off camera flash.
